Congratulations goes out to Calvin Borel and Mine that Bird for an awesome race yesterday. Nobody even mentioned this horse in the pre-race show. He showed them what they were all missing.

Horse racing doesn’t take any talent. It’s not a skill to be born prematurely and underdeveloped

looked like a slow start but good race.

Mine That Bird; What a horse and what a race………Outstanding………50-1 long shot wins the Derby……exciting race; Question will be run fast on dry dirt? Will he win the Prekness, and Beltmont?

  22. twinkiepoodle Says:

End Horse Slaughter. El Paso, Texas is the largest exporter in the world of horses going to slaughter. For each horse that wins the Kentucky Derby there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of horses (many race horses) that go to slaughter in Juarez. Mexico Some of these horses sold for kill are young thouroughbred race horses. This win could increase breeding, which is the root of the problem. Please help, there is a flip side to this story.
