MTB needs another race like this. he needs some pace in a race and some horses in a race thats why i think he lost the belmont, the field wasnt small but he did move a little early. And the preakness he had to much trouble comeing into the strecth. I really like PON he was super in this race and in the preakness got bubmed
i hope he doesnt end up like Brother Derkek the derby fave then barley won a race after. I like Musket man though i hope he wins a couple down the road….maybe the haskel.

Sorry if Came across a little… gruff. But! Comparing the kentucky derby (which btw has been won by many of the greatest horses that ever had 4 legs) with the national is like comparing a smash-up derby with formula 1. I don’t begrudge anyone having an opinion, but it is clear from what you have said that you know nothing about racing.

yea maybe in terms of quality it is but in terms of a spectacle the national is the best race to watch and thats a fact! more ppl watch it than any other race and more ppl bet in it than any other race

The National and the Derby are2 completely different race types. You can’t compare them.

I am sure that a lot of horses had died in the Derby but the National it used to be on TV Every time I watch one or two or more would died in that race, I stopped watching it, the stupidity of the human race.

Come on people - the Melbourne Cup is the world’s greatest spectacle

wow, that horse is my inspiration
March 28th, 2010 at 9:44 pm
When he crossed the line, he won with a greater lead than he ever trailed by.
That is incredible.

They slice horse’s balls off all too quickly these days. After a performance like that they could have charged $20k a pop minimum in the breeding shed - say a conservative 100 mares a year, for 10 years = $20 million in ten years.
Now they’ll get f*ck all. Serves them right for slicing his bollocks off.

The poster of this video made me choke on my coffee, spewing java on the floor. Why? I saw their screen name: “CatFanInTheBathtub.” I don’t know what the image was in their heads…but the film clip that came to me was a cat getting a bath with their paws and claws spinning at 500 RPM. Funny! Thanks for making me choke with laughter…and thanks for the Derby post!

A year later, and I still can’t believe it when MTB comes out of nowhere.
