Sprinter for sure????????Ok , he just went a 45 and change half while sitting just of the pace, but still wins by 5 lengths. O and by the way it was also a mile and finished it in 1:34 and 2, and galloped out fantastic. He may not win the derby, but this horse is certainly not a sprinter, sure he can be but, it’s not his best distance. Mountain Town looks great to, wanna keep an eye on that two year old.
Secretariat ran his Champagne 1:35 flat! Uncle Mo ran his 1:34 2/5. The Champagne was not even a graded stakes in 1973. Uncle Mo’s Champagne was a Grade 1 event. But they both carried 122. Uncle Mo’s final quarter mile was :24! BTW Uncle Mo is also 2/5 faster than Big Red at a mile 1/16. Same weight. But Uncle Mo is running against better class than Big Red.
