These guys make watching the world series feel like I am watching WGN and listening to how bias the cubs announcers are. At least in that instance that’s there home town.

It is not just in baseball, it is everywhere.
Almost all announcers are idiots, who talk and never heard the stupid things they say.

they are sports announcers….not oraters…they dont have much of an education when it comes to class…they figure the people that watch sports arent to bright anyways

You just can’t win with baseball playoffs announcing.
A few weeks ago for the ALCS we got to listen to Chip Carey and Buck Martinez. Now it’s Joe Buck and Tim McCarver.
Oh, and Ken Rosenthal has pretty much lost all respect from me. I read an article he wrote a few days ago and he said that the reason the Red Sox traded Manny was because they wanted a traditional white player instead. He’s trying to bring RACE into the Manny trade.
Anyways, yeah, the announcers are the only downside to October.

Once you get a DVR, set it to record, start watching about an hour after the game starts and fast forward between pitches, you can never go back.

Yes, I watched the game on mute. It’s just as intense. The only drawback is you don’t get to hear the crowd reaction. It is worth it, though, the commentators distract from the game.

Sports annoncers have gotten progressveily worse in the years. I am 50 and remember when the broadcaster also was a teacher and observer. Now the key to becomming an announcer is are you a clown? And can you talk about your ownself more than the game.

I wish there was an option like in the Madden games where you can "turn off" the announcers. they should make two baseball broadcasts, one with the genius announcers, and one without. See which one gets better ratings……..

Of course not. ALL sportsbroadcasters "are idiots" all the time.
I cannot watch a televised any kind of a game with the audio turned on. How depressing.

I totally agree with you. The Fox Broadcasters are so biased. They are nauseating to listen to.
