Arsenal v Huddersfield – Huddersfield are without their top scorer and Arsenal are in very good form and have Almunia, Squillaci, Diaby and Rosicky all back so I don’t see Huddersfield scoring but I do see Arsenal scoring 3 or 4. Given form i’d say Van Persie and Nasri are good bets for goalscorers. Outside bet Rosicky to score as he’s trying to prove himself.
Wolverhampton v Stoke – Ebanks Blake is back for Wolves and Stoke are without captain Shawcross and Higginbotham looks a doubt so given the home advantage i’d say Wolves will scrape it by a goal.
Notts County v Man City – No contest, City will win comfortably and Dzeko will probably score on his debut if he starts a hat-trick may be on the cards.
West Ham v Nott’m Forest – I would say there’s a possibility of an upset here with West Ham being so poor this season but Forrest look set to play a weakened squad to concentrate on their league campaign. New West Ham striker Ba is eligible but lacking match fitness so if he does feature he’s worth a punt as a scorer.
Fulham v Tottenham – Craven Cottage is notoriously difficult to get a result at and with Gareth Bale out through injury I think Fulham could keep a clean sheet and win with a set piece. Sidwell is set to make his debut for Fulham so he will be looking to impress with assists or maybe a goal.
