   this person is correct about some parts of kentucky, i am from grant county and untill 2004 not one black person lived in my county, i think there is one now but she might have moved.

    theres lots of black people in kentucky. lots in north carolina, huge numbers in louisiana. now when you get out more to the midwest or parts of the northeast especially new england black people become scarce, but there are lots of black people in the south.

    @jimjurtz Where you got that idea, I have no clue, but you might wanna get your info elsewhere from now on. The census bureau in 2008 estimated that the percentage of African Americans in Kentucky is only 7.7% while the state is 89.9% white. States like Georgia and Louisiana are around 30% black and 65% white.

    You guys are crazy. Im a black man and I’ve lived in Ky most of my life and there are plenty of Black Folk in the bluegrass. Go to the ville during derby and all you have to do is hit the streets in the west end, trust me!!!
