They don’t release these games in the U.K. Only the show get’s released but they bring out all the basketball, American football and ice hockey games, it’s bullshit.
That’s wrong the Mets didn’t exist till the 60′s. The Giants were the third team that used to play in NYC, but then the Giants and the Dodgers left in the 50′s for San Fran and LA.
Did you say the Mets and Brooklyn Dodgers played? The Mets were founded in 1962, the same year the Dodgers became the LA Dodgers so therefore you’re wrong. The Giants,Dodgers, and Yankees are the teams who played in New York at the same time.
I lost my perfect game in the World Series against the Mets. With three balls, two strikes and CC Sabathia pitching, Duda hits a ball up the middle, Jeter gets it, spins, fires and Duda beats it by less then half a step. It looked as if the ball arrived the same time Duda did, but the ump called him safe. Musta been Jim Joyce at first that day. I swore I wanted to break the controller.
You forgot the New York Giants, and the fact that the Mets were created after the Dodgers and the Giants left the city, to fill the void their absence created.
The Mets had only 3 original starters on the team. That’s why you had an easy shutout. If Ike, Reyes, Beltran, and Johan were playing, you would have had a harder time winning.

@terracottapie Dude.. he had to range all the way to the middle of the field, spin, and throw off balance.
You try to do that. Duda is a fairly decent runner as well.

I said, of the guys who have played in the majors over the last 20 years at SS, Jeter is the worst, defensively. That’s a fact, not an opinion.
I mean yeah, I’m sure he would do great on a sandlot against 18 year olds, but that’s not really relevant, is it.
