***My friends say that I've got a gambling problem but I just laugh….or do I actually have one?

if you are gambling on luck then you shouldnt because on the long term you ll get greedier and you will gamble on everythingy you got and lose it all
if you are playing anything other than poker quite it immediatly because you are just being lucky and your luck wil be over soon.
ow and dont gamble the wife away i have a hard time getting a girlfriend you better appreciate what you got if not i ll be happy to go out with you wife:)

When you take big risks like your car or a lot of money which you may or may not be able to afford, it probably means you have a problem. Could you stop? Honesty answer that question.

no it doesnt show how intelligent or witty you are. And yes you do have a gambling problem. But you didnt need me to tell you that. Times are good now man but wait and see. A guy I knew blew his head off after he bet his life savings and mortgaged his house to get it back but lost that as well.

Since I don’t KNOW you I can’t say if you have a problem or not. But they say that those who deny it are usually the ones who have them. When you are winning it’s not so much a problem as when you start losing and have to sell everything..or borrow from loan sharks. I guess if you are happy and it’s not causing stress on your family then it’s ok. Only you really know this in your heart.

I don’t know if you are exactly addicted to gambling, but I think the important thing to remember with gambling is, it is just a fun pastime and (with things like fruit machines and roulette) there is usually very little you can do to affect the outcome. It’s just luck and odds most of the time.
People will often go out on a Saturday and spend at least 100 quid at a strip club or on cocaine or whatever, so gambling is just another form of entertainment. The problem comes when you can’t say no to it. Just be smart.

If your wife got upset, if you need an extra job, if you think you are more intelligent and witty than the professional gamblers, if you need to come here for advice because you think you may have a problem…… You have a problem, my friend. There is an organization called Gamblers Anonymous. I would suggest that you go to them for their opinion. I wish you the best and I mean it.

As long as your paying your bills… Your kids have everything they want or need (if you have kids)
And as long as you dont have to break the law to get the money to gamble..
Then its a choice not problem..
If its your choice to go play poker on a Saturday Night and maybe loose a $100 - $200 (or whatever you play for) its your way of having fun..
Some people go to the bar or club and spend $100-$200..
Or maybe play a round of golf that’s a $100-$200..
or whatever else people like to do for fun… And you choose to play cards…
So once again its a CHOICE…
Gambling is only a problem when you can’t stop and your not paying your bills to do so…
Its okay to loose money gambling just don’t loose yourself by doing so…
