well i want the Steelers to beat the Jets, because rex ryan thinks hes a bigshot just cause he has play makers! i want the Packers to beat the Bears, and i wanna see Green Bay take out Pittsburgh just cause i dont wanna see them get 7 super bowl wins.

interesting stat that Dick Lebau looks at on a weekly basis that i heard about in a weekly Steeler Podcast, is that he looks at football metrics like pass yards per play, success rate and those two stats vs different pressure situations. the jets vs 4 man rushes avg 6.3 yds per pass, with 42% success rate, against 5 man rushes, they fall to 5.8 yards per pass with the same success rate, but with heavy blitz situations of 6+ rushers, they’re 3.9 per play with only 28% success, just above Carolina

Key to this game will be getting a lead, and allowing the defense to pin their ears back and go after sanchez, stay gap disciplined and roll the coverages to confuse sanchez and cover the flat like they did against the ravens so sanchez will hold onto the ball longer than he wants and allow that front 7 to get after him. shottenhimers gameplan is basic because sanchez can’t do much. Plus, we didn’t have polamalu in the last game, so we didnt blitz much because we couldn’t roll the coverages.

THE CHOP SHOP IS BACK WHERE IS HITMAN

Mr. Ru’s packers reasoning is hilarious! I say Bears vs. Steelers. All this vanishing crap that Rodgers did last week wont be happening with Julius Peppers on his tail. Think of how many times atlanta front 4 got to rodgers, JP is better than all of them. Atlanta needs to slap themselves with no hands for that foolishness!

  7. eagles01211 Says:

@TampaDefense john abraham had 13 sacks compared to the 8 sacks peppers had…..peppers is no abraham

  8. TampaDefense Says:

@eagles01211 Every teams game plan is to stop Peppers. We will see if Peppers and the Bears from 4 let Rodgers run around in the backfield. Rodgers didnt even mind Abraham coming at him, Rodgers just hit that spin move or slid and poof, abraham was gone.

  9. FuriousPumpkin Says:

@eagles01211 . Peppers can do many things Abraham can’t. In terms of athleticism barely any football player alive is a Julius Peppers. Peppers is by far the more fearsome playmaker. No disrespect to Abraham, he’s an excellent DE. But overall he’s going to have to take a backseat to Peppers, or maybe ride shotgun.

    no white people? jk

  11. DontBeHatin52 Says:

@TampaDefense ya the reason packers won is cuz the falcons have no defense and packers did the bears have a defense and a offense the bears are goin to the superbowl

  12. Vash1286 Says:

hey im pretty sure i may have missed the message, but where is Hitman?

  13. TampaDefense Says:

@DontBeHatin52 Bears offense is decent, but defense did their thing yesterday. I wish the offense had a lil more toughness to it. They should of kept running the ball.

I’m glad you guys are finally back!
