That was a charge on the back stretch and it was only a hint at what he would do at the Preakness.

When you watch Secretariat at the rear you can see him trying to take off but Ronnie holds him back. He’s hopping and jumping like he’s saying “Just let me go!!!” You can see the same thing in the Preakness but that time Ronnie couldn’t hold him back. He was so insistent that Ronnie let him go. So cool! They learned to trust him after that and just let him run his own race in the Belmont. Totally awesome!! ♥
