  1. Mrs. BonBon Says:

Mostly Scheduling and Completion Percentage – if both teams are completing closer to 70% of their passes from last game – good shot at over – if both are closer to 50% that means lots of in-completions and you shouldn’t get a shootout

also scheduling if your off a division low score or division shootout – if your playing a team that is non division often the reverse happens the following week –

also use the linesmaker – if one team scores over 30 and the total is low like under 37 you have to ask why – the linesmakers are telling you it should go under. Same thing if both teams score under 17 but the total is over 45 , they are saying its leaning to an over

None of these are ironclad rules – but its not bad advice either….lol

    Good Luck :)

To be honest I have never really turned my attention to the over under betting even though it is a huge market. I really can’t envisage a reliable way of predicting the outcomes. A match could be high or low scoring if both teams are equally strong or it could also be high scoring if one team totally collapses, I don’t really think there’s a way of predicting a team collapse, sure you could work a system to asses one teams strength against another, but trying to guess when there is a collapse is like betting on a grand prix based on the prediction of an early crash, I just don’t think its possible. I mean even when your saying two teams are of equal strength and you’re thinking a draw is most likely its hard to say whether its gonna be a high scoring or low scoring draw. As you can see I have literally no idea, if I was going to have a go I would look at goalkeepers, obviously previous records, and also the collapse rate of a team perhaps in preference to the other teams ability to score high. Because if a team collapses it doesn’t matter if you’re playing Manchester United, or Fulham, I don’t think that any team other there has the particular ability to cause the collapse though. As you can see this has come out as something of a word salad. Good luck with it and remember never stop looking at the value.

In soccer football, you could take note of past statistics, head to head statistics, team news, injury table(checking to see if any influential players like top scorers, renowned defender will be available for the match or not), condition of the pitch, importance of game for both teams, weather, etc

The above are simple indicators, predicting only over/under betting is not easy and I highly doubt people can forecast predictions consistently in the long term solely on over/under betting. Anything can have a significant impact on the outcome, unpredicatable stuff that happens very commonly like own goals and penalties, lucky shots, deflected shots, etc…

By the way, I am assuming you’re talking about SOCCER football, not AMERICAN football. If you’re talking about american football ignore this post.
