    @PhillyFlyGuys Most Yankee fans have seen the rings from 96-09. 5 Rings. That’s more than twice your team ever won. And as for this decade, no question the Yankees are the best team. Best winning % and 2 rings. Red sox come at a close 2nd though

    I’m a huge supporter of the Sox. However, nobody can deny that the Yankees are the greatest franchise in professional sports. People have begun to misunderstand the whole rivalry. It’s not supposed to be “We’re better than you.” It’s more “We’re fuckin’ pissed that you’ve become so successful.” The Yankees are and will always be an excellent organization. Don’t even try arguing against that, my fellow Sox-aholics. In any case, GO RED SOX. 2010 Champs soon to be, baby.

    @mikesgotniceice theres more player development in baseball than in any other sport. Why do you think that players spend 3 years in the minor leagues while in other sports they are on the pro team out of the draft

    @TheDJ596 No shit I know what the minors are. Did Teixeira, Sabathia, Burnett, or A-Rod come from the Yankee minors? These 4 were clutch in winning in ‘09. With a salary cap, there’s no way ALL of them could be on the same team. How much have the minors helped out teams like the Orioles, Royals, Pirates, Padres, or Astros? They don’t have a chance if team like the Yanks and yes even the Sox are allowed to consistently buy and replace players with anyone whose willing to sign for A TON of money.

    @TheDJ596 There’s no argument for opposing a salary cap, give someone else a fucking chance. I’m a Sox fan but I don’t NEED to see the Red Sox AND Yankees in EVERY postseason. Too bad it’s too late and nothing will ever change.

    @mikesgotniceice then dont say dumb things like player development you sounded like a know nothing known baseball person. oh ya mark teixeira wants to sign with the orioles. The orioles arent a broke organization believe it or not they do have some salary they just dont have a philosophy of signing players and mark teixeira would have ended up on the red sox if the red sox hadnt bailed out. They woulda signed him there was a hiccup in the negotiation then the Yankees swooped in..

    @mikesgotniceice why not?? so you wanna see the rays in the playoffs??? the rays are boring and their stadium is bad. I would like to see the rangers in the playoffs theyve done a great job developing their system and they have many of their farm hands contributing to the teams success right now.
    I would like to see more distribution of the money in baseball so it wouldnt be so heavily on the Yankees but they play in a big market, NY… are u gonna get rid of NY?? no.
